Multi-nationalities Lecturers → Gain "World English"

Japan can be said to be a country with a longing for "American English" and "Queen's English". There is also a strong sense that if one studies English, one will be able to access English speaking countries such as Canada, the United States, and Australia.

However, less than one-quarter of the world's English population has native English speakers.
Probably, most people you’ll meet on business or traveling abroad have learned English as a second language.

Even if you say "English", the accent of English in the world varies by country and region.
Even if you understand American accents, you may not understand English that spoken by other countries and regions.

If you are aiming for the world, it is important to understand various "English" by improving listening skills. In EMS, we have lecturers from various nationalities, and each month, EMS will alternatively exchange English native and non-native lecturers, organizes classes, so you can interact with and truly acquire global English!

Interact with students from 42 countries around the world → Experience cultures beyond the"Japanese Norm"

EMS has an international environment where students from 42 countries around the world study.

Students who grew up in environments with different climates, religions, and lifestyles have different cultures.

By interacting with EMS classmates and lecturers, you will be able to experience in many ways the shocking differences between your culture and your classmates.

Also, by experiencing the multi-cultures and ways of thinking in the world, you can see from a different angle that Japanese values are unique to Japan only and concern that you have when you are in Japanese society.

Studying abroad at EMS is not just about English, it’s about expanding your horizons.

You will have a greater sense of accepting the opinions of people with different values from you, and you will be able to see things from a broader perspective.

Input & output method to learn Business & University English

English lessons in Japan often involve classroom lectures and memorization, but that does not give you the ability to write and speak.
However, lack of "input" such as reading, listening, and grammar, causes poor output.

At EMS, in addition to 4 hours of input, there is a class for output called Extra Course, 2 hours a day, and hands-on training using the words and vocabulary learned during the input time.

By learning a well-balanced combination of output and input, you will learn English at a level that can be used in practical situations such as university enrollment and business.
