[Japanese Company Information] DAIWA HOUSE - Development of First Logistic Facility for Cold Chain in Malaysia

Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. (HQ: Osaka) announced that will develop a logistic facility corresponding to the company's first cold chain in Selangor, Malaysia.

This project named as "D Project Malaysia I" is multi-tenant type logistics facility where multiple companies can occupy, and the site area is about 30,000 square meters. It starts construction on January 7, 2019.

Demand for logistic facility has increased recently in Malaysia with the increase in demand for general consumer goods and e-commerce, and many Japanese logistics companies have also entered into the country. In order to support the needs of diversifying logistic facility, it is said that this project will be undertaken the know-how of logistics facility development in Japan.

The management and lease of the project is carried out by Company’s Malaysia subsidiary "Daiwa House Malaysia Logistic Sdn. Bhd" established in May 2018.
